KidzArt Gallery
Located on the GAC’s second floor, the KidzArt Gallery is a place for the children to experience the thrill of exhibiting their own artwork to the public.  As adults and children travel through this gallery space in order to reach the main Instructional Area, they are touched by the creativity and joy represented on the walls and shelves in the form of paintings, clay sculpture, crafts, books, paper mache, photography, crayons and more.

Currently, the Arts Centre is seeking government and/or corporate funding to upgrade the walls, lighting and flooring to gallery standards and hope to start improvements soon.

Children’s art is very special, and it is the GAC’s intent to incorporate the KidzArt Gallery into our annual gallery programming by using co-op high school students and volunteers and teaching them the finer points of curatorial planning and organization techniques.  These young curators will learn by experience how to develop an exhibit, how to market it, and then execute the Opening Reception and events associated with the run of their show……wonderful experience!

Please feel free to visit the KidzArt Gallery any time you come to the GAC – you will be amazed!
